The word normal makes me laugh, at least in 2024. How is one supposed to be normal in 2024?

The concept of “normal” has evolved and adapted to the “today” world we live in.

From the ultra fast evolution of technology, to cultural norms that one would never have imagined, and the state of the world, the definition of normalcy has become more fluid and subjective than ever before.

In this day and age, normal no longer simply means conforming to a set standard or fitting into a specific mold. Instead, it includes a large spectrum of experiences, identities, and lifestyles that reflect the diversity of humanity. Its confusing and at the same time, its also OK. Sometimes it just makes it hard to know WHAT is normal.

People are making money in ways never imagined. People are fighting for rights that one would’ve never thought of. Poeple in power are crooks and liars… well I guess, THAT has never changed… its been that way for centuries.

The boundaries of normalcy have expanded to embrace individuality, inclusivity, and acceptance of differences. What was once considered unconventional or outside the norm is now celebrated as unique and valuable.

In 2024, normalcy is about authenticity, self-expression, and the freedom to be true to oneself without fear of judgment or discrimination. It is about breaking down barriers, challenging stereotypes, and creating a more equitable and understanding society. As we continue to navigate the complexities of the modern world, the concept of normal will undoubtedly continue to evolve, reflecting the dynamic nature of human experience and the ever-changing landscape of our shared reality.
